Turorial of the North Sea Energy Atlas by Aravind Satish
Aravind Satish is a scientist specializing in Energy Systems’ Analysis and currently focuses on offshore energy infrastructure, geospatial planning, underground hydrogen storage and carbon capture and storage.
Within the NSE program, his primary role involves designing the North Sea Energy Atlas, a crucial tool for visualizing and analyzing offshore energy infrastructure and potential. The NSE Atlas provides valuable information on energy production and its associated infrastructure assets in the North Sea region as well as activities that co-exist with energy production such as fishing, shipping and marine life. Aravind's work is instrumental in supporting the program's goal of identifying and assessing opportunities for synergies between multiple low-carbon energy developments offshore, including wind energy, hydrogen production, and carbon storage.
